5 Things You Shouldn't Do with Your Sunglasses

Tip 1 - Never put your lenses face down

Some lenses easily scratch, leaving your $$$ shades with visible marks that no one wants. Fold the temples and keep your lenses from making contact with any surfaces.

Tip 2 - Don't rest your shades on top of your head

This is common for many of us to do. Your sunglasses will stretch over time and cause them to fit irregularly. It's also annoying when they get caught in your hair!

Tip 3 - Don't throw your shades in your purse or bag, always use a case

We're all guilty of this; throwing our sunglasses wherever convenient. Think about all the random things in our purses/bags. Your sunglasses will thank you later for always keeping them in their cases OR a microfiber pouch.

Tip 4 - Don't use your clothes to clean your sunglasses

It may be easy to use your shirt to clean your sunglasses, but the truth is your clothes have rough fibers that may scratch your lenses. Nothing cleans sunglasses better than a microfiber cloth and lens cleaner. It's easy to throw an extra cloth in your sunglasses case for quick cleaning.

Tip 5 - Sunglasses are a year-round accessory

Just because the weather goes drops and snow starts to fall, your sunglasses still play an important role with your everyday look. Sunglasses are a year-round accessory, protecting your eyes from harmful UV rays. If your sunglasses are polarized, it'll help cut that blinding glare from snow.
